I'm back from two weeks by the sea in Cornwall, the home of my mother's biological family and where I feel most able to relax.
I started out this break with a little ritual as my mother's funeral was two days before the trip. I cast two chrysanthemum flowers I had saved from the funeral bouquet into the sea. That was my personal spiritual ceremony to bring her soul home to where she was happiest too.
After that I was blessed with two weeks sunshine and warmth which I had been preparing myself to cancel or be cancelled, as 2020 is going, but I was fortunate to experience the entirety and make it back healthier in body, mind and spirit.
I've not seen the tide quite so high yet for most of the fortnight it was gentle. The sea was having its own pause to think, delving and bringing its mysteries to shore.
September is a pivotal astrological month in a remarkable year for it. Neptune was prevalent the first week away with energy building for a New Moon 'Supermoon' in Virgo on the 17th September.
So how might Neptune affect us? Well, Neptune is all about imagination, intuition and the hidden, much like the moon. Combine Neptune's influence with a Supermoon and it's bound to affect us, but because it's hidden, we can't quite put our finger on why it may be. We are, if you like, out of our element.
